Terms and policies

Effective November 2, 2026

Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Oxygen. By using Oxygen you agree to them, along with the Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy and Copyright Policy on this page. If you don't agree, don't use Oxygen.

Who can use Oxygen

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, you need permission from a parent or guardian, especially before buying anything.

What Oxygen is

Oxygen is a web tool with a built-in browser, interactive activities, music and video players, community chat and an AI assistant. The built-in browser loads other websites through our servers. Oxygen doesn't own, run or control those websites, and their own terms still apply to you.

Your responsibilities

Accounts

You can use much of Oxygen without an account. Chat, coins and paid plans need one. We can warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, and we can remove content at any time.

Paid plans and coins

Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to store, display and process it as needed to run Oxygen, including showing it to other users in chat and checking it for rule violations.

AI answers

The AI assistant can be wrong. Check anything important yourself, and don't rely on it for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

No guarantees

Oxygen is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. Features and third-party content can change, break or disappear at any time, and we can change or shut down Oxygen.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Oxygen and the people behind it aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything caused by third-party websites or content. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Changes

We may update these policies. If we make a significant change, we'll ask you to accept them again. Using Oxygen after an update means you accept it.

Acceptable Use Policy

Don't use Oxygen, including its chat, AI and built-in browser, to do any of the following:

Chat messages are checked automatically, and chat and AI activity may be reviewed by staff. Breaking the rules can lead to a warning, a timed mute or a ban, with or without notice. Serious violations skip straight to a ban.

Privacy Policy

What we collect

The built-in browser

Sites you open in the built-in browser load through our servers, and those sites can set their own data in your browser. They have their own privacy practices. Don't assume this tool makes you anonymous: your network, school or employer may still be able to see that you are using it, and our servers handle that traffic.

Who else gets data

We don't sell your account details or messages.

How we use it

We use this data to run Oxygen, keep it secure, enforce these rules, process plans and improve the site.

How long we keep it

We keep account data and messages while your account is active or as long as they are needed for the uses above. Some records, such as bans, may be kept longer to prevent abuse.

Your choices

You can clear the data in your browser at any time. To ask for a copy of your data, or to have your account and data deleted, contact us. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights over your data.

Children

Oxygen isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Some content on Oxygen, or reached through it, comes from third parties, and Oxygen doesn't claim to own it. If you own the rights to something and believe it's being used without permission, send us:

We'll remove or disable material when a valid notice calls for it, and we can ban repeat infringers.

Refunds and cancelling

What you're paying for

Sites you open in the built-in browser and the movie sources can still show their own ads.

Renewal

Plans are Ko-fi memberships. Ko-fi charges you the same amount every month until you cancel. Each payment adds 32 days to your plan. If a payment doesn't go through, your plan ends when its current days run out.

Cancelling

Cancel your membership on Ko-fi at any time. You won't be charged again, and you keep your plan until its days run out. Deleting your Oxygen account or just not using Oxygen doesn't cancel it, because the payments run through Ko-fi.

Refunds

Ask on our Discord server and include the email you paid with. We look at refunds case by case, and we don't promise one for every request. You may also have a legal right to a refund where you live, and this policy doesn't take that away. If a payment is refunded, the plan it paid for can end early.

If you're under 18 and paid without permission, a parent or guardian can ask for a refund the same way.

Accessibility

We want people to be able to use Oxygen with a keyboard or a screen reader, but we haven't had it audited and it isn't fully accessible.

What we've done

Known problems

If something stops you from using Oxygen, tell us on Discord and say what you were trying to do.
